Hi Friends!
I hope you’re finding ways to keep encouraged and grateful despite all the COVID-confusion, misinformation, and polarization in our world. It can be so disheartening… Above is a favorite memory that has sustained me during this season. It’s from Father’s Day—the first time since the start of the pandemic that I had all my kids and grandkids together. We all wear masks as appropriate but agreed to forgo them for this shot! 🙂
I’m getting ready to take a week of much-needed vacation and I really need your help with two things.
First, I’m getting ready to start a new book that combines or is a stand-alone of one or more of the following:
- Fathering Well: The Neglected Missional Priority
- Preparing for Marriage
- Why Marriage?
- Dangers of Growing Up In a Christian Home (and how to avoid them!)
- How to enjoy and have a healthy marriage
- A collection of essays on why reading is so important and how to enjoy it more
Would you kindly give me feedback on what you think I should do next or what is most needed? Or, if you have creative ideas on titles or topics within one or more of these themes, I would love to have your thoughts! You can email at gregausten@comcast.net
Second, for those of you who have read How I Became a Christian Despite the Church: If there is something specific that encouraged you or any suggestion(s) you have for improvement (even if you found a typo!), I would love to hear from you. One of the things I’ve appreciated about publishing through Kindle Direct is the ability to make on-going edits to the eBook and paperback.
Again, please drop me a note at gregausten@comcast.net . And here are a couple of things you can do to help get the word out:
- If you bought it on Amazon, you can share a few comments or a review online (you can only do this if you actually bought the book).
- Share your endorsement on social media (e.g. FaceBook) using this link: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B085RNKTXY
Finally, if you have a favorite memory and/or photo that has sustained you during this season (like mine above), would you kindly share that when you reply? I would love to see or hear about it and how you’re doing.
Thank you so much!
Greg
